Aim
The student will gain a familiarity with working with the design process.
Course objectives
The student should be able to:
- run a design project focusing on the basic methods of design methodology.
- develop the company's product in in terms of design.
- present a well planned result for clients and examiners.
Content
The course includes the following modules:
- basic design methods
- basic design process
- presentation technique
Entry requirements
At least 60 Credits (ECTS) in Industrial Design or equivalent.
Selection rules and procedures
The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.
Teaching form
The student is supervised by a supervisor who is active at the department of Design or an external supervisor who works as a professional industrial designer. Active participation in all parts of the project, some of which may be carried out in groups.
