Aim

The aim of the course is to make the student well prepared to use digital drawing techniques in the design process.

Course objectives

The student should be able to:
- use digital sketching as a tool in a design process.
- argue for the artistic expression and the layout.
- apply digital sketching to reproduce lighting, surface quality, materials, backgrounds and environments.
- use digital sketching in design presentations.

Entry requirements

At least 60 credits (ECTS) in Industrial Design or equivalent.

Selection rules and procedures

The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.

Teaching form

The teaching consists of seminars and workshops. In addition to teacher-supervised time, the course is carried out as independent studies.

Examination form

I100: Assignment and presentation, 3 Credits
Grade scale: Fail (U) or Pass (G)
