Art for the future
Knowledge about the status of the air quality, lead to knowledge about uncomfortable or dangerous situations regarding the concentration of smoke, oxygen, loudness or other influences. To watch limits and react if neccesary is a contribution for a sustainable development of lifestyle.
Whats the project about
Let’s be honest — sustainability doesn’t always feel like the “hot topic” anymore everywhere. But the challenges we face haven’t disappeared. So, how do we keep people interested, engaged, and aware? In this project, we’ll explore how art can be a powerful way to reconnect people with sustainability — to make them feel something, not just know something. Your mission: use creativity to inspire real change.
The purpose is that the students will be inspired by sustainability issues, could be a SDG´s or a defined environmental problems and to communicate this in artistic ways. It could be through painting, film, photography or any other means of artistic expression. Working with materials that are easy to get is central, simple, re-used, picture or movie produced by mobile or material found in nature is beneficial.
Explore the root-cause of the environmental or social problems and use art to visualise and explore the issues and how to communicate potential solutions.
Students will get positive feedback and improve their artistic skills, it is all about finding your inner artist! The project is for anyone that wants to explore artistic means of expression, no matter what your background is.
