Green & Gold – A plan for your own sustainability and financial well‑being
How do our lifestyle choices impact our wallets and the planet, both now and in the future? And most importantly, how do they shape our happiness and well-being along the way?
Whats the project about
How do our lifestyle choices impact our wallets and the planet, both now and in the future? And most importantly, how do they shape our happiness and well-being along the way?
Many people today live with high levels of debt, which creates financial stress and uncertainty. At the same time, mental health issues are on the rise, with anxiety and worry becoming common aspects of daily life. The threat of environmental disasters and climate change further adds to the sense of unease, especially among young people who feel their future is at risk. These factors contribute to a broader sense of imbalance, affecting both individual well-being and the society.
Sustainability is interdisciplinary and many societal challenges are interlinked. Research also shows that personal lifestyle choices play a bigger role on climate impact than previously thought. In this project we shift the focus from the societal level to the individual and how our everyday personal lifestyle choices have an impact, both in the short-term and long-term.
