Postal handling
Mail and postal handling
Campus Services, a part of the Division of Infrastructure, is responsible for the University’s overall mail and postal management. PostNord is the provider of letter and package brokerage services that the University uses today, according to the following agreements:
- Mid Sweden University’s call-out agreement with PostNord regarding letter broker services with Reg no./Case number MIUN 2020/718.
- Mid Sweden University call agreement with PostNord regarding package agency services with Reg no./Case number MIUN 2020/719.
The handling of Campus Service regarding sending letters, packages, pallets, etc. is done today in Postnord’s web-based transport tool Pacsoft Online. Pacsoft Online will be phased out gradually over the next two years for the Swedish market. As a user, we will then need to choose another transport-administrative system, such as the free Send Direct Business or Unifaun Online.
- To know which mail services are best suited when handling consignments, there is a guide on Postnord’s website letter or postcard service.
- To know which package service is best suited when handling consignments, there is a guide on Postnord’s web page package service.
PostNord has transport solutions for all our needs. Read more about PostNord’s transport solutions.
If you choose a different alternative than PostNord, the consignment must be charged to the customer in question. Name, department, place and reference number must then be provided with the consignment. The department in question will then be charged for the current consignment.
