Mid Sweden University should be open, inviting, accessible and in contact with the surrounding community. Openness to the outside world is possible thanks to active work with security and risk management. Security work promotes a safe and secure work and study environment, safeguards material and intellectual values and the trust in the University. The Division of Infrastructure is responsible for security in the areas of personal security, fire and property protection, IT security and information security. The service includes:

• Coordination of Mid Sweden University’s security areas
• The development and management of policies, guidelines and procedures in the various security areas in accordance with current legislation
• Support, fault reporting, incident management, advice and training in security related issues
