The Grants and Innovation Office is a newly established unit within the Division of Research and Educational Support (FUS). The unit supports researchers and students with research funding, collaboration, innovation and utilisation.
The Grants and Innovation Office has a multifaceted mission.
- Research advisors at the unit help researchers find and apply for external funding, which is crucial for creating the conditions for strong research environments.
- Innovation advisors support researchers and students in utilising ideas, by transforming research into practical applications that can benefit society as a whole.
- The Collaboration Managers at the unit runs collaboration agreements and strategic partnerships with municipalities and regions to ensure that the University's research makes a relevant contribution to the sustainable development of society in northern Sweden.
Project managers within the unit support researchers and the university management in university-wide, strategic projects.
