Subject Networks for Teachers in Mathematics, Physics, Technology, Chemistry, Natural Science, and Biology
Welcome to the Launch of Subject Networks Between Upper Secondary School Teachers and Teachers at Mid Sweden University. Through shared learning and exchange of experiences, we aim to develop teaching and strengthen the connection between upper secondary education and higher education.
Date, Time and Location
- Date: Tuesday, October 28, 2025
- Time: 10.00 AM – 14.00 PM
- Location: Mid Sweden University, Campus Sundsvall, room O 111
Target Group
Upper secondary school teachers in mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry, natural science, and biology (from schools in Jämtland, Härjedalen, Hälsingland, and Västernorrland), together with university teachers from Mid Sweden University. Principals are also welcome!
Purpose
The purpose of the day is to initiate subject networks between upper secondary school teachers and university teachers in mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry, natural science, and biology. These networks can enable long-term and mutual collaboration within each subject area.
Through shared learning, exchange of experiences, and subject-specific didactic development, the networks can:
- Improve the quality of teaching
- Connect upper secondary education with higher education
- Create added value for both teachers and students
In the long term, the work within these networks may help better prepare students for higher education and encourage more of them to pursue further studies.
Please note that the language used that day is Swedish. Contact us if you want to join in English!
