Programme Academic ceremony 1‑2 October 2026

9.45–14.20: Inaugural lectures, Fälldinsalen (N109), campus Sundsvall
The 2026 honary doctors and professors will give their inaugural lectures and share their respective experiences and careers. The lectures are open to everyone.

Friday, October 2

9.00–11.00: Popular science lectures and conversations, Fälldinsalen (N109), campus Sundsvall
Short lectures and panel discussions by and with the 2025 recipients of the Pedagogical Prize, as well as newly appointed distinguished and excellent teachers.The program concludes with a ceremony where the prize recipients and the aforementioned teachers are recognized.

15.45: The guests have taken their seats in Spegelsalen, Sundsvalls Stadshus (city hall)
If you are going to participate as an audience during the ceremony, you need to have taken your seat no later than 15.45. 

16.00 – The ceremony begins
The ceremony begins with an academic procession and lasts for about two hours.

18.00 – Banquet, Quality hotel
After the ceremony there is a banquet for specially invited guests at Quality hotel. The banquet begins with mingling.

Dinner, framed with speeches and entertainment, starts at 6.45 PM.
