Dangerous poems and endangered words
Poet and playwright Dareen Tatour from Palestine meets author and playwright Malin Nord from Östersund in a conversation about freedom of expression, resistance and the power of poetry.
Welcome to a conversation under the heading "Dangerous Poems and Threatened Words", where two playwrights share their experiences of writing from different parts of the world, but with a common belief in the power of the word.
Dareen Tatour talks to Malin Nord about being a writer under oppression where a poem can lead to imprisonment. During ongoing genocide, they meet in a conversation about dangerous poems and threatened words, and about Palestine's fight for survival, now and in the future.
