We will give seminars in the topic of home care for older adults, a comparative study with country insights. The seminars will be able to watch online. The first seminar will be in English.

Seminar 1. Introduction to the ARC-project

Discover ARC – a 2024 – 2027 THCS (Horizon Europe research initiative) that investigates pathways between ageing in place and hospital-at-home care in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Israel.  The project examines how built, social, and digital environments support home-based hospital models and co-develops redesigns with healthcare stakeholders. 

Speakers: Dr. Jodi Sturge and Dr. Christian Wrede from the EU project Ageing Right Care(fully) (ARC).

Dr. Jodi Sturge is the ARC Project Coordinator and Project Investigator for the Dutch data collection. Jodi is an Assistant Professor with the Interaction Design (IxD) group in the Department of Design, Production and Management in the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente. 

Dr. Christian Wrede works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Interaction Design group of the University of Twente, the Netherlands. As a psychologist and digital health specialist, he is interested in innovative solutions to support ageing in place, informal care, and community nursing.
