Staff party in Sundsvall – we celebrate 20 years together
This year, Mid Sweden University turns 20 years old and we want to celebrate it together with you! On Thursday October 23 we invite you to the party in Sundsvall filled with music, good food, happy colleagues and a great atmosphere.
A huge thank you to all our fantastic colleagues who joined the staff party in Östersund! Now we’re getting ready for the next celebration in Sundsvall. What an amazing anniversary year this is turning out to be!
On Thursday, October 23, it’s time to party at Campus Sundsvall. Expect lots of surprises and a great vibe all evening long.
Ismagasinet
We’ll start the party in Ismagasinet, opened exclusively for us this night – a place full of history and atmosphere. Don’t forget a jacket though, the building’s icy past makes itself felt!
The Early Modern Jazz Quartet, with our colleagues Mattias Warg, Per Hammarström, and Sven Olofsson, will bring smooth and swinging jazz tunes.
The Art Hub, who is managed by our talented artists Edith Andresen, Victoria Engholm and Lena Sjödin Roman will host a vernissage of the exhibition Kreativa kraftfält in Ismagasinet. Approx 15 artists with connections to Mid Sweden Univeristy will join the exhibition and show their art works. The Art Hub has been funded by the 20-anniversary fund and will also arrange lectures, seminars, workshops and reseach in the field of art during the week.
Dinner will be served in a buffet style in Grönborg. There will be competitions, live music with the cover band Patrik’s Combo, and our DJ will keep the dance floor going all evening long.
We offer sparkling drinks with snacks, a lovely dinner together and there will be the opportunity to buy wine and beer throughout the evening. This will be an evening to remember – a chance to celebrate both the university's anniversary and collegial community. Welcome!

All employees are welcome to attend both staff parties. Mid Sweden University pays for train travel between towns. The employee pays for and arranges accommodation and any other type of travel.
