On Saturday 27 September at 11–13, we open the doors to Mid Sweden University and invite everyone to a day filled with activities, meetings and inspiration. Discover our research, education and community in a playful and educational way. Welcome!
Programme
- Visit the Sports Tech Research Centre and experience their research lab.
- Sit down in comfortable bean bags at the university library; Read a book, try photo-orientation or bind your own booklet with needle and thread.
- Sámi exhibition in the university library.
- Brainstorm your own ideas about the food of the future together with Spilloteket and our researchers.
- Program robots and make Pins with Geek Girl Mini – a technology initiative that inspires girls to discover the possibilities of technology.
- Meet the Student Union who show why student life is so much more than just studies. (Also take the opportunity to visit their flea market!)
- Listen to researchers talk about their exciting projects.
- Meet researchers who, among other things, show off 3D printers, talk about risk and crisis research, and can answer almost any question about parental leave!
- Learn about how studying abroad works.
- Discover the art in our premises.
- Go on a guided history walk through the area together with Gunilla Nilsson Edler NOTE! Start at 12.00 (about 45 minutes outdoors, dress accordingly).
- Compete for great prizes.
- Meet Birger, the little Storsjö-monster.
- We offer hotdogs!
This is a day for both young and old, for the inquisitive and for those who just want to have a nice time with others. Welcome to Mid Sweden University (Kunskapens väg 8) on 27 September at 11.00–13.00. We look forward to meeting you!
