Background and Academic Path: My journey in psychology began at Stockholm University, where I completed my Psychologist degree. Pursuing further specialization, I earned my PhD at Swansea University under the guidance of Louise McHugh, with a year of enriching experience at UCD Dublin. This path, though not always straightforward, has been filled with valuable lessons and experiences that continually shape my approach to teaching and research.

Research and Teaching: As a member of the faculty at Mid Sweden University, my focus lies in Process-Based CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Relational Frame Theory. I am deeply interested in exploring how these approaches can enhance psychological well-being. In my classes, I aim to create an environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore the complexities of psychological theories and practices.

Professional Contributions: I've had the privilege of contributing to the field of psychology through various roles. As the former President of the Swedish Chapter of the ACBS and a board member of the ACBS Foundation, I've been involved in promoting contextual behavioral science. My participation in the Swedish Association for Psychologists, particularly in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Special Interest Group, reflects my commitment to the practical application of psychological research.

Personal Motivation: My professional journey is driven by a desire to help individuals lead meaningful lives. I find great joy in tackling theoretically complex and challenging scientific problems, believing that these efforts can significantly impact mental health and well-being. It's this passion for meaningful impact that I hope to impart to my students and colleagues.
