Background

I provide strategic and operational support in external research funding at Mid Sweden University, with a focus on competitive programmes such as Horizon Europe. My approach is shaped by over 15 years of experience across academia and the private sector, combining deep knowledge of grant writing with structured methods for planning and delivering collaborative development projects.

Before joining MIUN, I led a consultancy specialising in innovation and funding strategies for research teams and technology-driven companies. I have worked closely and successfully with partners to design funding roadmaps, secure competitive grants, and build long-term collaborations. My roles have included team leadership, operational management, and the design of professional support functions.

At MIUN, I provide hands-on support throughout the full grant application process, from idea to submission, and contribute to the development of internal tools and methods. My focus is on strengthening the quality, clarity, and strategic alignment of externally funded projects through structured support adapted to researchers’ needs.

Research

My research background in theoretical bioinorganic chemistry, with a focus on catalysis and complex reaction mechanisms, provides a foundation for understanding scientific workflows across disciplines. This allows me to tailor support to both fundamental and applied research contexts.
