Communications officer
My name is Rickard Olsson and I work as a communications officer at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (DET) and the research centre STC at Mid Sweden University.
In my role, I am responsible for communication related to the department and the research carried out within STC. My work focuses on making research, innovation and education visible, both internally and externally.
I work closely with researchers, teachers and management to develop communication strategies and content for our digital channels, press releases, news articles, events and other communication activities. A key part of my role is to communicate complex research and technical developments in a clear and accessible way, and to highlight their relevance for industry and society.
I also contribute to activities aimed at strengthening the visibility of Mid Sweden University and STC, as well as building connections between research, industry and the wider community.
Do you have questions or ideas about communication at DET or STC? Don’t hesitate to contact me!
