Background

Originally, I come from the well-known tourist area Black Forest in southwestern Germany. In 2004–2007, I did an education as an industrial clerk at a world-renowned company in the woodworking industry, Homag Holzbearbeitungssysteme GmbH. After the education, I worked at the accounting department of the same company and in the sales department with export. After that, I studied at the University of Applied Sciences of Worms in the fields of International Business Administration and Foreign Trade as well as Tourism and Travel Management. I completed a Bachelor's degree with a major in Business Administration at Mid Sweden University in Östersund in 2012. Later I took my Master's degree in Business Administration at Mid Sweden University in 2013. After my Master's degree, I started working in the tourism industry in Norway and then I worked as responsible product vendor at a travel company and as head of department for tourism development and marketing at Freudenstadt municipality in Germany. Since summer 2017, I am doing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Mid Sweden University in Östersund with a specialisation in long-term oriented development of smaller cities in Europe.
