Register sickness and health notification
In Primula, under the menu item My page and Sick/Healthy notification, you register your sick leave and make your health notification.
Register sick leave
In the event of illness, you must make a report both to Mid Sweden University's Service Center (010-142 80 00 choice 1 or sjukanmalan@miun.se) and to the head of department/manager. The Service Center reports this to the HR Division, which registers the first day of illness in Primula. Illness that lasts more than seven days must be confirmed with a medical certificate.
Remember to report your health in Primula on the day you return to work as usual.
Your first day will then be reported in Primula and notified to your head of department/manager.
You can also report your sick leave in Primula yourself after you have notified the head of department/manager. Below you will find instructions on how to proceed.
1. In the menu item under My page and Sick/healthy notification you will find the form Sick leave.
2. Enter the first day (From) of the sick leave, leave the blank date blank, fill in the scope.
If the first day of illness is not a full work shift, fill in the same date in the From - Blank fields and enter the extent corresponding to the first day's absence.
Click Add and fill in the second day of sick leave in From, leaving the blank date.
Click Add.
If you report your sick leave afterwards , you state from - up to and including the date of your sick leave and the extent.
3. Click Submit.
Medical certificate
From your 8th day of illness, you must be able to present a medical certificate. You send the certificate to your manager/head of department. If the certificate contains a change in the extent of your sick leave, your manager/head of department must notify HR of this in order for your salary to be calculated correctly.
In the event of prolonged sick leave
Change in the extent of sick leave
If you have a longer ongoing sick leave, you cannot administer any changes to the extent of sick leave yourself.
Have a contact with your head of department/manager and inform them of how your sick leave is progressing, you send the medical certificate to your head of department/manager. It is your head of department/manager who notifies the HR Division (primula@miun.se) when there are changes in the extent of sick leave, and the HR Division in turn reports the change to the Government Service Centre for registration on salary.
