Complex conference celebrates 25 years
For 25 years, researchers in complex analysis have met at the international conference Nordic Complex Analysis Meeting. On May 3rd to May 5th, Mid Sweden University, with Andreas Lind at the forefront, together with Umeå University, organizes Nordan2024.
Since 1997, the conference has been a popular meeting that has brought together senior and young researchers in complex analysis from all over the world. Participants from 14 universities in 7 countries are currently registered for this year's conference.
"Meeting and discussing ongoing research is incredibly rewarding and stimulating," says Andreas Lind.
Vice-Chancellor Anders Fällström will also participate in this year's conference and hold the opening proceedings.
"For me personally, the conference has meant a lot both in terms of research and socially. The first Nordan of the new millennium was arranged jointly by Mid Sweden University and Umeå University and was therefore located in Örnsköldsvik. The fact that Nordan, when it turns 25, is now returning to Västernorrland and Mid Sweden University feels extra fun and I am really looking forward to welcoming all international researchers and once again participating in the conference," says Anders Fällström.
