New external member of the NMT Faculty Board
The Faculty of Science, Technology and Media (NMT) has a new external member of the Faculty Board. Following a by-election, Anders Warell, Professor of Industrial Design at Lund University, has been unanimously elected as an external member for the period 1 October 2025 – 30 June 2027.
Anders Warell has a broad experience in the field of design, with a combined background in scientifically based design and artistic studies. He has had several assignments at Swedish and international universities and is previously assistant supervisor to one of the doctoral students at the Department of Natural Sciences, Design and Sustainable Development, (NDH).
In 2024, he also contributed to the development of the subject of industrial design at Mid Sweden University, including in the work of developing a new education syllabus.
The election was conducted in accordance with the Vice-Chancellor's established guidelines and timetable, and the Nomination Committee's proposal was adopted unanimously.
