Who will be the Swedish champion in innovation? The call for SKAPA prizes 2025 is now open.
No other innovation award in Sweden can compare to SKAPA in terms of breadth and commitment. Winners are chosen partly regionally and partly nationally, and the competition attracts a large number of participants each year.
The purpose of the prize is to support innovators so that their inventions and ideas can reach the market and to demonstrate the importance of innovations for the national economy.
In total, the prize money comprises over SEK 1.9 million and this year the following national prizes/scholarships are offered:
- SKAPA-prize (500 000 SEK)
- SKAPA-talent for young innovators (125 000, 75 000, 50 000 SEK)
- SKAPA-acceleration scholarship in memory of Agne Johansson (SEK 250,000)
- SKAPA-acceleration scholarship for women in memory of Margareta Andersson (SEK 250,000)
- SKAPA-role model in memory of Leffe Smith (100 000 SEK)
- SKAPA-communication prize in memory of Harald Romanus (SEK 100,000)
