"I am of course very happy and proud that the work with Skrivlyftet is being recognized. It's a recognition that is shared with all the fantastic colleagues I've worked with – both here at Mid Sweden University and at other universities," says Ann-Catrine.

Skrivlyftet is a long-term development project that since 2017 supports teaching teams in integrating writing into teaching. Instead of seeing shortcomings in students' writing skills, the project focuses on how teaching and learning environments can be changed and improved. The work rests on the research field of Academic Literacies and has inspired similar initiatives, including Skrivum at Umeå University.

"It's about creating better conditions for students' academic writing and learning by giving teams of teachers time and support to develop their teaching together," says Ann-Catrine. It has been very valuable to see how collegial conversations can contribute to change.

The project has had an impact both locally and nationally. It has been made permanent at Mid Sweden University and led to the formation of the network Literacy and Learning in Higher Education (LOL), which brings together researchers and university teachers from all over the country.

The Include Prize is a prize awarded every year by the Include network in collaboration with the Swedish National Union of Students (SFS). The prize is awarded during the Include conference, usually in October. The award is intended to support further work in broadened recruitment and participation, for example through study trips or further education in Include's areas of activity.
