Course rooms in Canvas are now automatically created

As a course manager, you will see that course rooms for the fall course sessions are displayed on your Overview in Canvas. Course managers need to add other teachers to these course rooms. If you have not already received access to your course rooms, the connection will take place in the near future. You must be registered as a course manager in Ladok for the connection to work. Contact your faculty administrator if you are unsure about how your role is defined in Ladok for the fall course sessions.

The Ladok connection creates a course room for all course sessions. Any joint reading (samläsning) must be managed by the teacher and then decide which course room to use and publish. Instructions for how to do this can be found in Canvas Basic Course – Administering Course Early Access and Joint Reading (in Swedish).

If you have previously ordered and worked in a so-called "Bygg" course room, you should now import the content you have created into the course room created via the Ladok connection when you gain access to it. Once you have imported your material into the Ladok-created course room, you will continue to work with your content there. In the Canvas basic course, which all teachers have access to in Canvas, there is an instruction on how to import content – ​​Import content from resource course rooms (in Swedish).
