Start of subject network for teachers at university and upper secondary school
On October 28, 2025, it is finally time to start up a subject network for teachers at universities and upper secondary schools. Initially, a meeting is offered for the subjects of mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry, science and biology.

Target group: Upper secondary school teachers and university teachers in mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry, science and biology
Purpose
The purpose of the day is to start up subject networks between subject teachers at upper secondary school and Mid Sweden University in mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry, science and biology. The networks can enable long-term and mutual collaboration between upper secondary school teachers and university teachers in each subject. Through joint learning, exchange of experience and subject didactic development, the networks can strengthen the quality of teaching, link upper secondary school and higher education and create added value for both teachers and students/pupils. In the long term, the work in the networks aims to contribute to more students being prepared for, moving on to and succeeding in higher education.
Programme
10.00 -11.30 Coffee and sandwich. Introductory session with purpose and background and presentation of examples of collaboration in practice, between upper secondary school and Mid Sweden University.
11.30 – 12.30 Lunch (included)
12.30 - 14.00 Participants divide into subject networks and begin practical start-up work for each network, by, among other things, identifying areas for mutual exchange and learning as well as concrete planning of meetings in the coming academic year.
