A day filled with fun activities
From 13.00 we invite you to a number of different activities and workshops. Try pole dancing, challenge your balance on a SUP adventure, join in softball, zumba or padel. Feel the community in laughter yoga, take part in a workshop in mental balance, or discover new forms of exercise such as pickleball and aikido. You can also test your strength in deadlifts and bench presses or get an introduction to bouldering. Keep an eye out, more activities are being added continuously.
Digital lecture with sleep researcher Christian Benedict
During Friluftsdagen and for two weeks ahead, you have the opportunity to take part in a digital pre-recorded lecture with Christian Benedict, professor and sleep researcher at Uppsala University. In the lecture Why We Sleep, you will get an exciting insight into the world of sleep, what really happens when we sleep, why we often sleep worse than we think and how it affects both health, performance and everyday life. Christian shares current research and practical tips to help you improve your sleep quality.
Registration for the activities opens on September 10
