Have you completed Cyberlyftet?
We can all contribute to strengthening cybersecurity at Mid Sweden University, and there are many opportunities to increase our awareness and knowledge in this area. One example is the training course Cyberlyftet.
Cyberlyftet is a web-based introduction to cybersecurity that all employees can access free of charge. The training is provided by the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) and takes approximately 30–60 minutes to complete.
The course offers an accessible overview of common threats and practical advice on how you can act to reduce risks—both at work and in your personal life. It covers topics such as recognizing phishing attempts, the importance of secure passwords, and how small everyday choices can make a big difference to our collective security.
By completing Cyberlyftet, you contribute to a stronger cybersecurity culture at Mid Sweden University while also enhancing your own digital safety.

Cybersecurity month
During October, Cybersecurity Month is organized in Sweden and across Europe. Umeå University, Mid Sweden University, and Luleå University of Technology have jointly developed a shared initiative. The aim is to create favorable conditions for a strong cybersecurity culture through facts and educational materials.
