Phase‑out of the Moodle Learning management system
During 2026, the Moodle learning management system will be phased out. February 28th Moodle will be placed in read only mode (locked) to enable archiving and data disposal.
Read‑only mode means that you will only be able to view content in your course rooms. After this change, it will no longer be able to communicate via messages or discussions, nor will students be able to submit assignments or complete quizzes. As a teacher, you will no longer be able to assess/grade assignments, quizzes, or other examination activities in your course rooms.
Any examination activities that your students need to complete need to be carried out in Canvas.
