The International Political Science Association (IPSA) has recently published the "IPSA Companion to Political Science", a comprehensive review based on the most 20 most cited scientific articles in a number of subject categories. Under two categories; "Democracy" and "Government" is the article "Democratic discontent in old and new democracies: Assessing the importance of democratic input and output" represented. The main author of the article is Stefan Dahlberg, professor of political science at Mid Sweden University's Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, HSV.

" To be recognized in this way is probably the finest recognition you can get as a researcher, that what you do is noticed, appreciated and used by researchers internationally," says Stefan Dahlberg.

He has written the article together with Sören Holmberg and Jonas Linde. The fact that the article is used as a central reference for the concepts of "Democracy" and "Government" means significant international recognition based on citation impact.
