Change to the Web Filter
We are currently migrating Mid Sweden University’s web filtering solution to a new technical platform as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity and ensure a secure and stable IT environment.
The web filter protects against malware, phishing, fraud attempts, and other security threats that may be spread through websites. Its purpose is to reduce the risk of incidents and to protect the University’s information and our users.
In connection with the platform migration, some websites may be blocked differently than before. This may mean that you are unable to access a website that you previously had access to.
If you need access in order to perform your work, please submit a case to IT Support. Include:
- the website in question, and
- a brief justification explaining why access is required for work purposes.
