Join the first ChallengeEU Matchmaking Research Workshop – 13 April
Researchers at Mid Sweden University are invited to participate in the first Matchmaking Research Workshop within the European Universities alliance ChallengeEU on the 13th of April.
The workshop will be held online via Zoom on Monday, 13 April, 14:00–16:00, and represents an initial step towards strengthening and developing research collaboration across the alliance. Although ChallengeEU primarily funds educational activities, this workshop offers a valuable opportunity to explore new research collaborations, develop joint project ideas, and initiate future mobility and exchange initiatives.
The workshop will begin with a brief introduction outlining its purpose: to connect researchers from different partner universities, identify shared research interests, and lay the foundation for collaborations that may lead to research proposals, comparative studies, and both short- and long-term cooperation.
Participants will then be divided into four thematic groups. The themes will be introduced and facilitated by researchers from Mid Sweden University. The four thematic groups are:
1. IoT, AI and Electrification
2. Metal Additive Manufacturing – From Materials and Processes to Industrial Use
3. Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Trauma
4. Digital Health, Health Economic Evaluations & Policy

The ambition is that this workshop will serve as the starting point for a recurring series of activities and contribute to further strengthening Mid Sweden University’s research collaborations within ChallengeEU.
