Cybersecurity Month
In October, Mid Sweden University, Umeå University, and Luleå University of Technology are once again running a joint Cybersecurity Month campaign. This year's theme focuses on AI, information security, source criticism, and how we can use new technology in a safe and responsible way.
In October, it is once again time for the Cybersecurity Month – a recurring effort to strengthen knowledge on information and cybersecurity. As in previous years, Umeå University, Luleå University of Technology and Mid Sweden University are conducting a joint campaign to create good conditions for a strong cybersecurity culture.
This year, we are paying particular attention to how AI affects our digital daily lives. AI can be a valuable support, but the development also means that we need to think more about what information we share, how we review data and how we recognize increasingly credible cyber fraud.
In October, we will publish four short news releases that provide concrete advice on secure information sharing with AI, source criticism and AI-enhanced fraud. The month ends with a quiz where you get to test your knowledge in everyday situations.
