Risk analyzes, consultation rounds and collaboration

The risk analyzes are planned to run from 15th of March to 15th of May. They are implemented at departmental level within the local collaboration groups. Risk analysis is also planned to be carried out within the faculty office with the head of the office as responsible and at an overall level for the faculty with the dean as responsible.

In parallel, a review of effects on finances and location as well as various central support systems such as IT and student administration is also being initiated.

There is also ongoing collaboration with union representatives and safety representatives as well as dialogue with all employees via APT and the like.

According to the plan, consultation rounds for subject colleges, chancelleries and student unions will be carried out during the period 20 May - 20 June and the final proposal will be subject to the principal's decision in October 2022.

The work with a new organization for NMT is led and planned by Vice Dean Dan Bylund.

The motives for the organizational review are several

• During the Vice Chancellor's department visits, requests have been made for more comprehensive and cohesive local support.
• The boundaries between institutions and planning areas are perceived as complex.
• The final reports in ARC21 describe our organization as difficult to understand.
• The planning areas bring together subjects with a close research tradition and pave the way for broad research collaborations, which can also benefit undergraduate education if it is coordinated organisationally.
