How does it feel to start here with us?

It feels great and exciting to start working with you. I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to supervise students, but also to be in a creative environment where the focus is on learning and development.

What is your background?

I have been a psychologist for 22 years and live in Mora with two teenage children. Over the years, he has worked in psychiatry, at a treatment center for eating disorders and also with neuropsychiatric assessments.

However, I have mainly worked with psychotherapeutic interventions based on CBT, both with adolescents and adults. Over the years, I have also supervised more and more, both in psychotherapy programs and in various psychiatric activities.

Do you have any connection to Östersund?

Yes, I was actually born in Östersund and lived here until I was about 4 years old. My grandmother also lived in Östersund during my childhood and teenage years and I visited her often. So I have many fond memories of Östersund, but I know the city mainly from a child's perspective and what it looked like 30-40 years ago. So it feels fun and exciting to have the opportunity to rediscover the city as an adult!
