Completion of Studies Ceremony
The Completion of Studies Ceremony is approaching for the students who complete their studies at Mid Sweden University in the spring term 2023. On 2 June, we celebrate our graduating students with speeches and music on campus.
All students who complete an education at Mid Sweden University in the spring term 2023 are invited to the ceremony. Most of the ceremony will be in Swedish, but parts of the program will also be in English.
This Ceremony is for graduating students only and is not possible to bring relatives or friends due to limited number of seats.
The ceremony
Date: Friday 2 June
Time: At 10.00– 11.00
Location: Sundsvall: Grönborg, Östersund: F214
Live broadcast to distance students: takes place from Sundsvall via zoom/YouTube
Registration: No notification is required
Students will receive information about the ceremony via the student web, schedule, our social media channels and through programme managers who receive information via email to forward in their own channels. In the news, PowerPoints are attached to show students at the appropriate time.
Information for those who arrange their own program completion in connection with the central one
Several programs in connection with the central ceremony also arrange their own ceremony for their students. This may include meeting together and "fika", teachers who give speeches, some programs also hand out scholarships. When you know the date of your programme completion, put it in the schedule and ask the course coordinator to communicate this in Moodle so that your students will be informed of the local and time in good time.
Alumnipins and thank you letters
If the programmes want to distribute alumni pins, these can be ordered by the Communications Department by sending an email to Maria Runering: maria.runering@miun.se Please order before 12 May!
If the program wants to hand out thank you letters to the students, the template is attached to the news. In order for the Watchmaster to be able to deliver them to the programs on time, the deadline for ordering is 12 May. The Guard Master will then need a list of all program students in excel format from you. Ordering printed thank you letters is made through the Service Portal and printing services. Name your order “Thank you letter”. Attach the list of all program students in excel format as well as the template for thank you letters in your order.
