Norrtåg and SJ change booking platform ‑ this is how travel will be affected

Norrtåg, SJ and other train operators are changing their booking platform. This means that it will not be possible to book journeys with SJ after 4 June in the period 16 April – 27 April. Online bookings will be affected until 22 May.
For journeys with SJ, this means that the possibility of booking a rebookable ticket will be paused from 1 April onwards. Seat reservations, optional extras and choice of ticket type will also be affected for some time to come:
- Seat reservations on trains cannot be offered
- The Rebookable ticket cannot be offered
- Train taxis will not be possible to book
- Add-ons such as food cannot be booked
- It will not be possible to offer SMS tickets
- E-tickets are offered by email. Tickets will be available in SJ's app.
Please note that these changes apply to SJ.
