Guidance for cloud services that are apps/tools
Always use your Miun address when registering an account in the service, but never use the same password as you have for your Miun account. The same applies to all cloud services.
When employment/studies at Mid Sweden University ends , your account linked to your MIUN email address with the cloud service provider must be deleted.
In case of controlled software , the account associated with your MIUN email address and stored data with the cloud service provider will be deleted.
In the event of uncontrolled software, the user is responsible for the account being deleted.
Inform the audience of their rights
Before you start asking questions, inform the audience of their rights. This is important for them to be able to make an informed decision about whether or not to respond.
Also inform them about how they protect their privacy:
They should avoid providing answers that could identify them or any other person.
They should never disclose any information relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, a person's sex life or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data.
Sensitive personal data is information that can be linked to a living individual and that concerns:
- ethnic origin
- Political views
- religious or philosophical belief membership in a trade union
- health
- a person's sex life or sexual orientation
- genetic data
- biometric data used to uniquely identify a person.
Also, be careful with free-text answers because you can't control what the audience answers, and it's quite easy to accidentally respond with something that is identifiable.
