Security in the Vault

Keep this in mind when using the vault!

The purpose of the vault is to allow you to securely manage your folders and files and share your information with others. Here are a number of points about security that you need to consider when using Valvet.

• The login is always done via MFA (multi-factor authentication) so you need to have your phone with an authenticator available at login to be able to approve it.
• Always log out of the vault and close the browser when you are no longer going to work in the vault.
• Sharing links
  • When you send out a sharing link, specify how long it should be active (i.e. before the person has logged in), set as short a time as possible.
  • If you send out a sharing link, you must send out the password in a separate email. Inform the person that the password must be kept secure.
  • If there are more people who are to take part and be active in a project, a sharing link and password must be sent to each person.
• To increase security - use individual accounts for all people who will be involved in the project and collaborate.
