About the employment as a doctoral student
In order to be admitted to doctoral studies, funding is required until graduation. Most of the faculty's doctoral students are employed as doctoral students at Mid Sweden University, but there are also doctoral students with other employers.

Doctoral students with another employer
Some doctoral students are employed by an employer other than Mid Sweden University and are pursuing doctoral studies within the framework of their employment there. When the employer is external, an agreement must always be drawn up with the employer in connection with admission to regulate the rights and obligations of the parties.
