Internal calls for funds

Via the library, you can access the database GlobalGrant (Stora Fondboken) with information about scholarships, grants and funds. Search for "GlobalGrant" or scroll down to the letter G.

The library's databases

Mid Sweden University has a number of templates for the Office package, including for dissertations. The template makes it easier for you as a doctoral student to follow Mid Sweden University's graphic profile. Common fonts, text sizes, colours and designs on diagrams and tables will ensure that the material is easy to absorb and easily recognize as a publication from Mid Sweden University.

The templates are pre-installed for PC users. There you will get a Mid Sweden University logotype in the upper left corner where you can access the thesis template. For Mac, you'll need to install the templates yourself.

Here you will find instructions on how to use the templates, as well as files to download for the mac user.

Cover

The caretaker's office helps to create the covers. For more information, please contact the caretaker's office. 

Contents of the thesis

How the content is structured varies between different universities. The order of the sections in the thesis template can therefore be adjusted, according to your own wishes. 

Margins of the thesis template

The margins in the thesis template allow for the printing process of the thesis. Even if the inner margin looks too tight, the finished print will be accurate.

Template for dissertation records A1 format. A1 is printed at the caretaker's office in Östersund, if you want it in A3 it is fine in both Sundsvall and Östersund.

PowerPoint presentation templates work in the same way as word templates. They are pre-installed for PC users but Mac users will have to install them on their own.
