Phasing out Moodle learning management system
During 2026, the Moodle learning management system will be phased out. On February 28th, Moodle will be placed in read only mode (locked).
Read‑only mode means that you will only be able to view the course content in your course rooms. After moodle is in Read-only mode, it will no longer be possible to communicate via messages or discussions, nor to submit assignments or complete other examination activities in your course rooms. The Moodle app will also be disabled when the system is put into read-only mode.
If you, as a student, have unfinished assignments or other examination activities in any of your courses, you need to contact the course coordinator (teacher). Since the autumn semester of 2025, Canvas is Mid Sweden University’s Learning management system.
