Data storage
A safe place to save your files is Mid Sweden University's storage area.
On the storage surface, regular backups are made automatically, which means that if files are lost, they can be restored in most cases. Storage space primarily refers to your personal folder to which only you have access.
Here you will find your folder!
From MIUN computers
Windows
In File Explorer, you will find the H: drive, which is your personal folder.
Mac
You can access your personal folder via the globe-shaped icon in the Dock at the bottom of the screen.
From a private device (Windows or Mac)
If you are using your private device, you can also access the information in your personal folder. You do this by using SFTP.
Follow the steps below:
Download the FileZilla client here: https://www.filezilla-project.org/
After you have installed the client, use the following settings:
Host: minafiler.miun.se
Username: your username
Password: your password
Port: 22
