Chaplain – if you need someone to talk to. If you have a hard time, if you have thoughts about the meaning of life, relationships, if you carry grief. We have absolute confidentiality and are part of the Student Health Care.
Coordinator — if you have general concerns about your health or if you are unsure about who you can turn to. You can also submit comments to the coordinator.
If you get sick
If you or your child become ill so that you cannot study, you may be entitled to sickness benefit. Your study funding may also be affected.
It is important that you contact the Social Insurance Agency if you become ill. They have important information for those who become ill or need to care for sick children and cannot study in the meantime. In case of illness, on the first day of illness, you must submit a medical report to the Social Insurance Agency. You can do this on the Social Insurance Agency’s website.
If you are studying with student finance, it is important that you also find out what applies to CSN (The Swedish Board of Student Finance) because sick leave can affect your study funding.
If you have documented periods of illness and problems with CSN arise, and if your illness becomes long lasting, it is good if the disease is documented by a doctor.
Please inform the person responsible for your education about your sick leave in case you need to take a longer break or cancel your studies.
