North2North
North2North is a mobility program within the network University of the Arctic (Uarctic), concerned with education and research in and about the North. The network consist of a number of universities in the north, and the mobility program includes both tuition-free study places and scholarships.
North2North mobility program
Students from all academic areas are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to students enrolled in study programs connected to the focus areas of the North2North program (such as Nordic Tourism, Business management in the north, Environmental/natural/geopolitical issues related to the north, Distance and e-learning, etc). The motivation letter needs to describe the student's interest in or connection to the themes of the North2North program.
Host Universities
A number of universities in Canada, the United States, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Russia, Greenland, and Faraoe Islands are members of the North2North network. Please note that not all members offer exchange places every year, and US and Canadian universities offer very limited places, if any. Mobility to Russia is not possible.

Due to the limited number of North2North exchange places, it is recommended to also apply for exchange studies in the regular MIUN exchange application round to increase your chances to study abroad.

Application
The application deadline is December 1 annually, for exchange studies the upcoming academic year.
The application is online in the system Mobility-Online.The first part is an online form where you fill in your personal information, information about your current studies, the semester you wish to study abroad, the subject area you plan to study abroad and up to three partner universities in order of priority.
After you have submitted the online form, you will receive an email requiring you to go back into the system by following the link provided, and upload your supporting documents into the system. The supporting documents to upload are the following:
- Letter of Motivation - follow the instructions on the North2North website.
- Transcript of record - download from the Student Portal in English (pdf)
