In his doctoral research, PhD student Rohan Patil has identified a new method for producing silicon nanoparticles for silicon-graphite battery anodes. The findings, which could contribute to higher-capacity lithium-ion batteries, will be presented at his thesis defence on 12 June.

In connection with her docent lecture at Mid Sweden University, Manisha Phadatare, researcher at FSCN Research Centre, presented research on Advanced materials for next-generation Lithium-ion batteries. She can now hold the title of Associate Professor in Engineering Physics.

On 14–16 April, a new online course in cybersecurity developed by STC and FSCN was held for the first time. The course, which provides in‑depth knowledge of threats, risks, and protection in industrial environments, featured guest lectures from experts – something the participants greatly appreciated.
