Besök från Vellore Institute of Technology i Indien

I fredags besökte forskare från Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) i Indien Mittuniversitetet och STC Forskningscenter. Syftet med deras Europaturné var att etablera nya partnerskap inom utbildning och forskning, och en av deras utvalda stopp var Mittuniversitetet i Sundsvall.
Dr. Sivanantham, Assistant Dean for Academic Research and Associate Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at VIT, along with Z. C. Alex, Senior Professor in the Department of Sensor and Biomedical Technology and Director (Sponsored Research) at VIT, were the visiting researchers. They were introduced to the research and education initiatives at Mid Sweden University and later got a guided tour of the labs and facilities, were they received information about several ongoing research projects conducted by STC researchers.
Associate Prof. Johan Sidén hosted the research visit, promote a future exchange of knowledge and cooperation between the two universities.
