CER study presented at Mittlyftet
One of the program items on this week's presentations of municipal collaboration projects at Mittlyftet was the CER study "From current situation to new situation: The urban vision as a starting point for attractiveness in Sundsvall municipality".
It is already known that the attractiveness of places determines where people choose to settle, which is also crucial for the availability of skills. The aim of the stage presented by Heléne Lundberg and Edith Andresen is to contribute research-based knowledge about factors that affect certain places being perceived as "a welcoming city" and to develop a model for development work and working methods for regional development based on the attractiveness of places.
In addition to Edith and Heléne, the project also includes Peter Öhman at CER and Lars Westin at CERUM and Umeå University. From Sundsvall municipality, project manager Johan Lindstammer and city architect Anders Bolin have participated.
