CER's profile area receives national and international attention
CER's profile area "Digital Banking and Finance" is receiving increased attention and collaborations in both Sweden and abroad, which allows the center to engage in important societal challenges.
Recently, Mustafa Nourallah was invited by the Swedish Investment Fund Association in Stockholm to give a lecture on the possibilities and limitations of robo-advice. To further strengthen knowledge in this area, CER is conducting a study together with Nordea on AI as a tool for developing digital banking services and strengthening employees' roles in connection with this development. Within the framework of the CER network, Dennis Hedback, Anna-Karin Stockenstrand and Peter Öhman carry out various activities related to schoolchildren and personal finances.
Internationally, Mustafa Nourallah recently participated in a panel discussion with Sweden's ambassador to Lebanon and chargé d'affaires in Syria on how financial services can help households and increase well-being in these two countries.
He was then invited to be a keynote speaker at an international conference on AI and entrepreneurship in Algeria and also to present CER studies to PhD students at the University of Catania in Italy. The increased attention is also related to the fact that Mustafa Nourallah and Peter Öhman as well as Kave Edin and Soleiman Limaei have had several articles in the field of banking published in international journals in a short period of time.
