At the end of March, the Hans Dalborg Foundation for Banking and Finance Research invited previous recipients of the Hans Dalborg Award for Excellence in Research in Financial Economics to a seminar at Nordea's head office in Stockholm.

Two CER researchers were invited. Mustafa Nourallah had the opportunity to attend, while Anna-Karin Stockenstrand unfortunately could not attend.

During the seminar, Annika Winsth, Nordea's Chief Economist, gave an overview of the global economic situation and its impact on financial markets, with a particular focus on developments in Sweden. After that, some of the participants presented their research projects. The seminar also drew attention to the memory of Hans Dalborg and his work – not only in the world of banking and finance, but also as a person who, through his song lyrics, contributed to joy and community.

All in all, the seminar was a valuable opportunity for exchange of experience, insight into ongoing research and discussions about possible future collaborations in economics and finance. Mustafa Nourallah said that CER is planning for a seminar linked to these issues and to invite representatives of the Hans Dalborg Foundation for Banking and Finance Research.
