Innovation award for Organofuel

Our researchers in Organofuel has recieved an innovation award of 200 000 sek on Innovationsriksdagen in Linköping. Organofuel is a green start-up company in Sundsvall started by our researchers professor Armando Cordova and Dr. Samson Afewerki.
Their technology enables a unique way of converting lignin (a residual product from the paper and pulp industry) to high-value products such as green fine chemicals, biomaterials and biofuels. Congratulations Armando and Samson.
