Climate ‑ Adapt society to a changing climate
The climate is changing. In the future, we can expect increasingly heavy rainfall and periods that are really hot. Society cannot stand unprepared for this.
The goal of the project is to develop climate adaptation plans focusing on small municipalities / communities. The focus is on how to optimize the entire process for smaller municipalities / communities that often have limited resources. Sundsvall Municipality is currently preparing climate adaptation plans for rainfall and heat waves. The process of developing these plans will serve as a pilot project where many lessons will be learned.
